Gamers familiar with Red Dead Redemption and The Witcher 3 will be accustomed to having a mount that is only a whistle away don't expect any such convenience here. The problem is that horse-riding really isn't worth the effort. Horse-riding was marketed as one of the major selling points of this game, and the fact that one of the core skills you can invest in relates to mounted combat demonstrates how highly the developers value this aspect. Walking from A to B is the tried-and-true method, of course, but you'll soon grow tired of being swarmed by monotonous waves of enemies every thirty seconds and the types of opponent you encounter are about as uninteresting as those in any MMO starter area (big spiders, wolves, shirtless bandits, etc.). You have three ways of getting around in Two Worlds: you can walk, you can ride a horse, or you can teleport. Barely an hour into the main story you find your map dotted with about half a dozen quest markers, each of which you need to visit in order to advance. (I wouldn't spend my time trying to justify Eragon if I could just watch Lord of the Rings!) This game really throws you in at the deep end without giving you a reason to swim. It is not a joy for me to play at all. Many reviewers are describing Two Worlds as 'so bad it's good', but to me that sounds like settling for mediocrity when there's a vast number of superior RPGs out there. But to me this game is not worth playing even if it was free. But if you feel the need to give it a try maybe get it on a sale. A waste of time to play such a bad game when there are heaps better games I can spend my time playing. Talking to NPC's is like a form of torture, listening to dialogue that sounds like someone is very bored makes me want to mute the sound. I do not need to play much at all to decide that I really hate playing this game. Character creation is extremely limited, you can only play as a male and change his hair and features a tiny bit. Though I could not map shift to anything at all and trying to map the tilde key just resulted in opening a dialogue function. The default controls are horrible as well, space for action and e for jump. Nothing managed to grab me and want to keep playing, story seems boring and cliche I normally try to play a game for at least 10 hours before writing a review, but the voice acting immediately put me off, sounds very robotic with no emotion behind the words, sounds like someone is bored and just reading the lines half heartedly straight off the bat. This game is very outdated with ugly graphics and atrocious voice acting. This game is very outdated I thought I'd give this game a try even though plenty seem to find it terrible and unfortunately I have to agree.
